No one knows..

No one knows,
Life is waitng for her,
But she wants to stay in despair;
No one knows,
Her soul wants to cry,
When she smiles;
No one knows,
Her eyes glitter,
When she is sad;
No one knows,
She shares her uniqueness,
And Has shattered soul;
No one knows,
She finds pleasures,
In betrayal;
No one knows,
Her tears says everything,
And her silence is golden speech;
No one knows,
Her heart is broken;
No one..

the last line..

"No one.."

you left it incomplete...
so when reader reads it ..
he completes the sentence in his/her mind..
feeling the same thoughts of the protagonist...feeling the ...pain..

Very nicely written Shree :) I am glad that you are getting better at poetry from day one.

I think, the meaning of each line is equally deep with the flow :)

The line that catches more is "No one knows".

You speak of masks. All of wear masks and hide behind it for various reasons. But, here is a girl/woman who is wearing a mask that allows her to pretend to be on top of things. The anguish is deeply hidden in her expressions, just that normal people will fall for it and look up to her to be their happiness Guru. It's like they say that there is deep sorrow or anguish behind a stand comedian act.

And yes, not to take any credit away from the verses, nicely done.

Cheers,
Vittal
